began as a simple idea way back in my teens, but the timing was never
right and then in 2010 I had a friend in the USA tell me she was
pregnant and so I went looking for a "made in NZ" soft toy that had
something unique to send to this friend however 90% of what I found was
"Made in China".. This
made me sad and very frustrated so I went about making my own kiwi and
sent this off - it was a huge hit and the feedback was very positive. I
had SO much fun making it I thought -YES I can do this, gave up my
position as Manager of a local library,"bit the bullet" and as of March
4th 2011 CreativelyCrafted has been officially producing Brown &
Cream Kiwi Soft toys and Puppets along with Pukeko soft toys and
puppets, Tuatara soft toys, Funky gecko toys... with more ideas always
coming on line :)
