Designed and knitted by Biddy Kerr at her home in Racecourse road Gore. She handspins wool from her own flock of sheep. Biddy also dyes some of the wool for added colour. She also uses other natural fibres such as Alpaca Mohair Silk and Possum to create her amazing range of unique handmade hats. Her stall at the market is laden with individual designs, in 100% wool or natural fibres, including scarves mittens wraps brooches and childrens exiting one off garments. She demonstrates her spinning at the market and sells her spun wool as wel as the bright coloured random dyed wools.

Creative
sewing and Pottery. Reversible jackets with patched areas using
various colour schemes on the main side, the reverse side is plain,
in a matching shade. Each garment is unique - colour schemes are
repeated but no two jackets are exactly alike. The buttons I make
from fimo in matching colours. Her pottery is in two main glazes,
one deep blue and the other sea green. The design philosophy is
"keep it simple". Frances
